Metal On My Mind

Is it medal or metal? I feel like I should get a medal after finishing my novel in progress. If it seems like it is taking forever, I assure you that is feels twice as long to me. However, I am close enough to the end now that I can see it, and be nervous about sticking the landing. The only way to find out is to take the leap.

I’m also in the process of moving my home office. Things are out of sorts around the castle, so that means my writing time is a bit out of sorts as well. I still plan fervently to finish the first draft of the novel by the end of the year.

I have a forthcoming Kairo short story in the next issue of Weirdbook, whenever the issue sees print. The printing schedule of the magazine has grown inconsistent and nebulous.

Looking forward to going to a metal concert this month, Frozen Crown and Visions of Atlantis with Kamelot. I truly only care about the first two, but will be a blast regardless. It’s been a while since I have been to a concert, so I plan to make the most of it. Might even wear a real pirate hat to the show with my Visions of Atlantis t-shirt. That’s cool right? Oh well, I’m too old to care what others think.

That’s all for now. Keep it spooky.
